Saturdays. The best day ever... Jessica thought as she walked into the library. There was absolutely no reason why she needed to be here. First, she had had ninety years to learn everything she needed to know. Second, this was the only library that Forks had, and go figure, they had no books what so ever. But, she was off work today and she didn't had anything to do. She had unlimited patience, and all of the time in the world.
She despised being a vampire though. She was a monster. She was a 'vegetarian' though, so it kind of comforted her a little bit. But she was a veterinarian, whenever she saved a animals life, she took another animals a few days later. She had tried time and time again to destroy herself, but she failed every time. She was just a few steps away from going to the Volturi and asking for death. But she still followed her human religion, and God said that he wouldn't forgive suicide. And going to the Volturi was suicide.
Jessica tapped her fingers on the shelves until she found it. Dracula. Humans were so easily manipulated into believing a wooden stake was it would take to finish a vampire off. They were wrong in so many ways it wasn't even funny. Vampires didn't sleep in coffins. Heck, vampires can't even sleep! She thought. She grabbed the book off the shelf and basically danced to the comfy looking sofa in the corner. She opened the book to the first page and attempted to read it. But she was restless and couldn't sit still. She got up to put the book back on the shelf and leave when she feel and hit her head. Even though she was a vampire, she was still clumsy as she was all those years ago. "Dammit!" She said acidly. She hardly ever cussed, but the venom in her voice surprised her.
